Firefox and Internet Explorer

Note: Nowadays many websites are using (LSO) Flash Super Cookies. To delete Flash Super Cookies you may need a special plugin. I use BetterPrivacy for Firefox.

Clear/Delete Cookies on Mozilla FireFox – Option 1

  1. Click on the “Tools” menu
  2. Select “Clear recent browsing history…”
  3. Select the time range in the upper box”
  4. If not shown yet, click “Details”
  5. Check “Cache” and “Cookies
  6. Click the [Clear Now] button.

Clear/Delete Cookies on Mozilla FireFox – Option 2

  1. Click on the “Tools” menu
  2. Select “Options”
  3. Go to “Privacy” and under “Private Data”
  4. Click “Clear Now”
  5. Check “Cache” and “Cookies” and then “Clear Now”
  6. Click [Clear Private Data Now]

Clear/Delete Cookies on Internet Explorer 8:

  1. Click on the “Tools” menu
  2. Select “Internet Options”
  3. In the “General” tab under “Browsing History”, click “Delete”
  4. Make sure the ckeck the box next to “Cookies
    (you may uncheck any other boxes)
  5. Click the [Delete] button.

Clear/Delete Cookies on Internet Explorer 7:

  1. Click on the “Tools” menu
  2. Select “Internet Options”
  3. Under “Browsing History”, click “Delete”
  4. Click “[Delete Cookies] under “Cookies”

Clear/Delete Cookies on Internet Explorer 6:

  1. Click on the “Tools” menu
  2. Select “Internet Options”
  3. In the “General” tab and under “Browsing History”, click “Delete”
  4. Click “Delete Files” for “Cookies” or/and “Temporary Internet Files”
  5. Click [OK] twice

Clear/Delete Cookies on Safari:

  1. From the Safari menu, click “Empty Cache”
  2. When asked Are you sure you want to empty the cache?, click “Empty”
  3. From the Safari menu, click “Preferences”
  4. From the Security dialog box, click “Show Cookies”.
  5. To delete all cookies, click “Remove All”
